This is a bolt on hinge kit for installing a double drive gate on a slope, where the top gate will lift as it opens to clear the ground. Can also be used for a single gate that needs to be hinged on the high side or where the ground rises up where the gate opens. Set includes 1 top and 1 bottom hinge. Hinges come in 3 different types, 1 for wood gates, 1 for vinyl gates, and 1 for aluminum gates
This hinge solves a problem that we have had on many jobs. The most obvious case is when the gate has to open outward to meet pool code, but then would open into a hill. That is not an issue anymore. Thank you!
